La zona
Appio Latino neighborhood is spread from the Aurelian Walls to the
Appia Antica, from Via Appia Nuova to Via Cecilia Metella; includes part of the
Archaeological Park of Appia Antica and the whole Valley of the Caffarella.
The heart of the neighborhood is Piazza Re di Roma, with its wide choice of shops
(bars, restaurants, pizzerias, wine bars, shops, supermarkets, libraries, historical
shops) where you can go shopping.
Among the most important monuments nearby you can admire Porta San Sebastiano
and the Aurelian Walls. Also visit Parco della Caffarella,
Villa Lais and Quintili's Villa, Via Sannio market, open
daily, similar to Portaportese (on Sunday only), and of course, the
Basilica of St. John.
Do not miss the Basilica of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme, with the relics
of the cross, and the Basilica of St. Mary Help of Christians, one of the
so-called "minor basilicas" of Rome (certainly not for its beauty).
The neighborhood is very well connected with the city center, airports and railway
stations thanks to the subway and public surface transport.
The apartment
The apartment Artemide, completely renovated in 2012, has the rooms furnished
in modern style and with attention to the details: the subtle colours make it
romantic and cozy.
The house, about 35sqm, is suitable to accommodate up to a maximum of 3 persons;
it is located on the basement floor of a beautiful building with garden in the
heart of Appio Latino, in Via Paolo Paruta 20b, a few steps from Piazza Re di
Roma.
The entrance opens directly onto the main house, a bright living room furnished
with a sofa-bed, table, chairs and a Flat Screen TV.
In the same space, you will find a modern and functional kitchenette equipped
with dishes, refrigerator, oven, allowing you to prepare your own meals.
The bedroom is spacious and furnished with an elegant wrought-iron double bed,
bedside tables and a wardrobe with mirrors where you can leave the luggage.
The bathroom is beautifully finished and fitted with a stall shower.
Heating, air conditioning and wi-fi complete the equipment of the apartment.
The apartment is located 100 meters from the bus stop "Ponte Lungo" Line "A"
subway and in few stops you can reach the historic center of Rome.

How to reach us
From ROME FUMICINO AIRPORT
Take the train Leonardo Express until to Termini station and than take the metro
Line A and go down "Ponte lungo", or take the train you will find inside the
airport direction to FARA Sabina and get off to Tuscolana Station, then by walk
around 400 meters.
From ROME CIAMPINO AIRPORT
Take a TERRAVISION bus until to Termini station and then take the metro Linea A
and go down "Ponte lungo".
From TERMINI RAILWAY STATION
Take the Metro A direction Anagnina and get off to "Ponte lungo" (5 stops,
about 8 minutes), the apartment is a one minute by walk.
By CAR
From the motorway follow the signs to the "GRA", take exit "Via Tuscolana"
towards the center, and go straight until the intersection with "Via Gela".
Turn left via Gela at the traffic lights and turn left again in "Via Appia
Nuova", taking the right. Take the first on the right, "Circonvallazione
Appia", then left in "via Tola", and left again in "Via Paolo Paruta".
