- Baths of Caracalla (800m)
The Baths of Caracalla, which structure is still well preserved, were the most
sumptuous of the capital of the Roman Empire, although intended for use of the
people of the nearby neighborhoods of Regio XII, while the upper social classes
used to attending the Baths of Agrippa, Nerone or Traiano. The Baths of Caracalla
were exceeded in size, later, only by those of Diocleziano, but the ruins of
the Baths of Caracalla are the best intact example to this day of the great
imperial baths.
- Basilica of St. John Lateran (900m)
One of the four papal basilicas and the oldest and most important church in
the Christian Area. Nestled into the hillside of the Celio, the church (and
the vast surrounding complex, including the Pontifical Lateran Palace, the Palace
of the Canons, the Roman Major Seminary and the Pontifical Lateran University),
despite being on the territory of the Italian Republic, enjoys privileges extraterritoriality
recognized by the Italian government to the Holy See.
- Colosseum (1500m)
The Flavian Amphitheater, better known as the Colosseum, is the symbol of Rome
Capital. The largest and most impressive amphitheater in the world is located
in the heart of the Roman Forum. It 'reachable by bus 81 or 673.
- Circus Maximus (1700m)
The oldest and largest circus in Roman history: born to be headquarters of the
games from the birth of the capital, now hosts concerts and events. The Circus
Maximus is accessible by bus from Piazzale Metronio 628 for 3 stops.
The apartment
Holiday home Caracalla 2, a quiet and elegant apartment for tourists recently renovated, is located on
the 3rd floor of a building provided with elevator, in the countryside a few steps from the famous Baths
of Caracalla, the largest imperial baths in Rome.
It consists of three bedrooms, each one provided with bathroom, a living area and a kitchen with terrace;
it can easily accommodate up to six people.
All rooms are air conditioned and equipped with free Wi-Fi.
The double rooms are spacious and quiet, all with mattresses Dorelan guaranteeing excellent comfort.
The bathrooms have a shower for relaxing after the long walks in Rome, and to regenerate quickly before
diving into the exciting Roman night life.
The kitchen is well equipped with all appliances.
In the surroundings you can find all necessary for shopping, and several of the most interesting tourist
sites in Rome.

How to reach us
From ROME FIUMICINO AIRPORT
Take the train Leonardo Express from the airport until Termini station, than take the metro
Line A and go down "San Giovanni" subway stop. The apartment is less than ten minutes walk away.
From ROME CIAMPINO AIRPORT
Take a TERRAVISION bus from the airport until Termini station, then take the metro Linea A
and go down "San Giovanni" subway stop. The apartment is less than ten minutes walk away.
From TERMINI RAILWAY STATION
Take the Metro A direction Anagnina and get off to "San Giovanni" subway stop (3 stops, about
5 minutes), the apartment is less than ten minutes walk. Alternatively take bus 360 which
stops a few meters away.
By CAR
From the motorway follow the signs to the "GRA", take exit "Via Appia" towards
the center, and go straight until you reach "Piazza Re di Roma". Take the fourth
exit - "via Cerveteri" - and continue in via Gallia.
