The area
St. John area start from Appio Latino, Esquilino area until to
Monti area.
The neuralgic center is obviously the Basilica of St. John Lateran,
the Diocese of Rome and the Papal Basilica and the nearby Appia street 'Queen
viarum'.
It start from Porta San Giovanni through the Aurelian walls, with its big choice
of shops (bars, restaurants, pizzerias, wine bars, shops, supermarkets, libraries,
historical shops) where you can do shopping.
Among the most important monuments close to Artemisia Apartment you can see the Baptistery
of St. John, the Holy Stairs, the Basilica of San Clemente, the Church of SS
Quattro (four).
Do not miss the Basilica of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme, with the relics of the
cross, and in the opposite direction, the Colosseum: the most visited monument
in the world is located about a 10 minute walk!
Characteristic is the market of “Via Sannio”, open daily, similar
to Portaportese market.
The area is very well connected with the city center, airports and railway stations
thanks to the underground and surface public transport.
The apartment
Gardenia Holiday House is located near P.za Re di Roma and nearby Via Appia Nuova,
one of the main shopping streets, few steps by all the most interesting places
in the capital due to its strategic position: the metro station "Re di Rome "is 70
meters far away as well as other buses stops. Also, one of the railway stations in
Rome, "Tuscolana" station, is located about 700 meters distance.
The apartment can accomodate up to 6 people and it is the ideal accommodation for
a family or small group.
The apartment is at the groundfloor, and consists of 3 bedrooms (two double bedrooms
and one with two single beds), dining room, bathroom, kitchenette. There is also a
beautiful garden outside. The total area is about 95 square meters.
The largest one of the three rooms has also a Flat screen TV and very comfortable
pillows.
The second one is slightly smaller than the first, and has an antique headboard,
while the smallest one is the most 'successful', because of the view of the interior
garden, the two single beds and a closet designed to be very spacious.
The apartment is also equipped with air conditioning and centralized heating system.

How to reach us
From ROME FIUMICINO AIRPORT
Take the train you find inside the airport and get off at "Roma Tuscolana" Station.
Via Bobbio is a five minute walk from there.
From ROME CIAMPINO AIRPORT
Take a bus Terravision to exchange station "Anagnina", and from there the subway to
"Re di Roma" station (11 stops, 20 minutes), the apartment is three minute walk away.
From TERMINI RAILWAY STATION
Take the Metro A direction ANAGNINA to "Re di Roma" station (4 stops, about 7 minutes),
the apartment is three minute walk away.
By CAR
From the highway, follow the signs to the GRA ring road, take exit Via Appia towards the
center, and go straight up to P.za "Re di Roma". The last street on the right before the
square is Via Bobbio.
